Performing Arts Taumarunui Inc. (PATI) is a non-profit organisation that strives to provide a high standard of live theatre. The history of the society dates back to 1948 and we have been located at The Little Theatre for around the last 30 years.
PATI provides a creative environment for the people of Taumarunui and the surrounding district.
PATI is an inclusive society, with a varied range of members who share their skills. There are always opportunities for people to become involved, and in return experience the "friendship" of an endearing bunch of people.
We value our young people, and are committed to providing them a safe and inclusive environment.
PATI is extremely proud of the shows it has staged, while COVID has impacted us over the last 2 or so years we endeavour to get back on stage and look forward to staging many more community inclusive productions. We tend to have 1 major production every 1 to 2 years and smaller productions throughout.
We relish the opportunity to welcome newcomers to our theatre family and encourage anyone wanting to participate or to become a member of our society to make contact.
